2 Things Not To Do When Marketing Online

If you want more sales and profits for your internet business, you have to think outside of the box. Gone are the days where you could do a few internet marketing strategies and get a ton of traffic and sales. The internet has evolved, and if you want to remain profitable, your business has to evolve also.

With that being said, I think you shouldn’t waste your time with ineffective online marketing techniques. You see most people who start out in internet marketing wants to receive easy results. So they put in a tiny bit of work, and in return, they expect to get a ton of results in their business.

Sadly however, it just doesn’t work this way. If you’ve been “hyped up” by a recent “guru” online, you need to forget about that sales page and just focus on the core internet marketing strategies that will get you the sales and profits that you desire in your business.

In today’s lesson, I am going to let you know what the strategies are that just won’t work for your internet business. It doesn’t matter what kind of business that you have… you will want to stay away from these techniques so that you can have a streamlined path to more sales and profits. In fact, here’s the first strategy that you shouldn’t do:

1) Artificially inflating your website traffic

Some people are just so desperate to be popular. One thing that you should never do is continually lick on your website link just to make it look like that you’re getting a lot of traffic to your website. Not only does this waste your time, but you won’t earn any income using this strategy anyway.

Plus, if anyone ever contacts you for a joint venture deal, and they have the product but you have the list, they will probably never do business with you ever again because of the fact that the campaign made them no money. So don’t inflate your hits by clicking on your own links. It doesn’t make sense, and it’s the fastest way to fail in your own online business. Here’s another thing that you shouldn’t do:

2) Buy a list of email subscribers

This won’t help your internet marketing efforts either. With this technique, you can be pretty sure that your list of people will flag you as spam. And the more spam complaints you get, the more likely your emails will end up in the spam folder – or just blocked altogether. And I know you don’t want this.

You should always start from ground zero and build up your list from there. Collect opt-in email newsletter subscribers who want to be on your list and wants to hear your advice on a weekly basis. These are the people who have invited you to email them, and they will give you the best response as possible.

Don’t do these 2 things in your internet business. They are a waste of time, and won’t help you to earn the money in your business that you desire. Stick with fundamental internet marketing strategies, and you will be good to go.
